TRICKSTER WINDOW

ARCH 280 / JOHN COONEY / FALL 2010
The trickster window is an array of mirrors that perform like a periscope, allowing the viewer to see around corners and not be spotted by those being observed. The project was driven by the liminal and transformable qualities of a trickster as an archetype to guide the design. Pablo Picasso’s 1911 Mo Jolie served as inspiration.
